My research

My research is broadly focused on understanding the health consequences of obesity and changes in body composition in older adults.

I also have many methodological interests. Much of my work is focused on the development and application of analytic tools for investigating and remediating sources of bias in epidemiologic research.

One of my primary objectives is to strengthen causal inference in obesity epidemiology by attempting to disentangle spurious findings from causal effects.

See below for a selection of abstracts from my work. A complete list of my publications is available at MyNCBI.
